- Build and support consolidation of Procurement and Logistics processes, systems and performance for best business control, effectiveness and efficiency across the organization.
- Develop functional strategy to source and periodically reassess and negotiate.
- Purchasing decisions for both product and non-product (i.e. facilities, IT, partners and contractors, etc.) procurement.
- Develop standards and tools, and best practices required to run effective logistics. (incl. asset, inventory, fleet management).
- Manage supplier, partner and contractor relationships and performance, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and legal teams, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor procurement and logistics performance and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting procurement practices, and adjust strategies and processes accordingly.
- Develop and lead Procurement and Logistics team and talent, provide leadership and guidance, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in an international organization in a Procurement role (Head of Procurement, Lead Buyer or similar) .
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing procurement and/or logistics strategies.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics.
- Experience with procurement software and systems.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) desirable.
