- Revenue & Invoicing: Manage end-to-end billing for guarding contracts, technical installations, or courier services. You will reconcile dispatch and deployment logs with invoices to prevent revenue leakage.
- Debtors Management: Proactively manage accounts receivable, perform credit-worthiness analysis for new corporate accounts, and ensure timely collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Payroll Management: Accurately process monthly payroll for a large, diverse workforce, including commissions, overtime, and all statutory deductions (PAYE, SHIF, NSSF, Housing Levy).
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform variance analysis on operational costs such as fuel, vehicle maintenance, uniforms, and equipment.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with Kenyan tax laws, including timely filing of VAT (ETR/TIMS reconciliation) and all other statutory returns.
- General Accounting: Manage petty cash, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable for suppliers and operational materials.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting/Finance), Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Professional Certification: Fully certified CPA-K or ACCA equivalent, with active ICPAK membership.
- Experience: 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience specifically within the Logistics, Courier, or Private Security industries is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage), advanced Excel, and a strong working knowledge of iTax and automated payroll systems.
- Attributes: High integrity, ability to meet strict deadlines, and excellent communication skills for debt collection and stakeholder management.
