- Design personalized fitness programs based on clients’ fitness level, goals, and medical conditions.
- Lead group fitness classes and personal training sessions in accordance with established schedules.
- Monitor and provide feedback on clients’ progress, offering encouragement and motivation.
- Conduct a comprehensive health and fitness assessment.
- Ensure the proper use of gym equipment and promote safe exercise practices.
- Stay updated on fitness trends, techniques, and best practices to provide fresh and innovative instruction.
- Maintain a clean and organized gym environment, ensuring equipment is properly sanitized after use.
- Respond promptly to clients’ inquiries and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Collaborate with the department’s faculty to support academic learning in practical gym settings.
- Report maintenance issues to the gym management.
- Degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field from a reputable institution.
- A recognized fitness instructor certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, or any relevant body)
- At least two years of experience working as a fitness instructor, personal trainer, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of various exercise techniques and principles.
- Ability to design workout plans based on individual fitness levels.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- First Aid and CPR certification is an added advantage.
