without approval, in writing, from the Directors of the Company.ResponsibilitiesJob Description
  • Daily inspection
of Apartment rooms, public areas and employee staff locker rooms. * Daily briefing ofHousekeeping staff. * Coordinating thepreventive maintenance schedule of rooms and a public area with the
maintenance department. * Immediatelyattending to guest requests. * Responsible forcleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire apartment blocks. * To regularlyinspect guest rooms, VIP rooms and corridors, lobby, public toilets, etc.
to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness. * To effectivelyhandle all guest complaints concerning Housekeeping, taking corrective
action to prevent recurrence and convert the guest into a repeat
customer. * Coordinatesproper actions with other departments, and informs General Management
Consultant. * Ensures allhousekeeping staff is thoroughly familiar with the Apartment's emergency
procedures and is in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may
occur. * Maintains amonthly overview of the vacation- and public holiday balance of all
his/her staff and delivers a monthly consolidated summary to the
Management.
  • Ensure that
Apartment rooms are made as per company standards. * To come up with ahousekeeping budget. * Maintain parstock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniforms. * Organize inventorieswith Accounts and General Store for linen and fixed assets. * Develop andimplement Housekeeping systems and procedures * Prepare reportsfor management information. * Assist the Purchasedepartment in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping. * Verification ofsupplies consignments. * Organize on-the-jobtraining evaluate its effectiveness and share training topics in advance
with the management. * Approval of theFunctional Manual of the department. * Recommendrecruitment of new personnel, in case existing ones are not up to the
task. * Ensure allmaintenance problems are reported on time and resolved. * Follow up without-sourced Laundry (White Rose) that they deliver quality service * Advise managementon equipment to be used and facilitate the same. * Assumesresponsibility of Duty Manager when scheduled to do so. * Other duties asassigned.
