The consultant/firm will be expected to:
- Review existing LSV documents and resources.
- Align the materials with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), national education policies, and inclusive education priorities.
- Refine and adapt the materials to ensure they are practical, user-friendly, and relevant for learners, teachers, education officers, and other stakeholders.
- Produce a final set of contextualized LSV resources and a technical report outlining the process, key recommendations, and adaptations made.
- The assignment will be carried out between 1st– 12th September 2025 (10 working days).
- Reviewed and contextualized LSV materials ready for dissemination and implementation.
- Technical report highlighting key recommendations and alignment with CBC and inclusive education frameworks.
- Final user-friendly LSV resources for use by learners, educators and stakeholders. Consultant Qualifications
- Interested consultants/firms should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Proven expertise in curriculum development, education policy, and/or life skills and values education.
- Demonstrated experience in contextualizing or adapting training/teaching materials. Strong understanding of Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and inclusive education approaches.
- At least 5 years’ relevant professional experience.
- Degree in education, social sciences or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Company/individual profile and CV(s) of proposed consultant(s).
- Technical proposal outlining the consultant’s understanding of the assignment, methodology, and work plan.
- Financial proposal (inclusive of all applicable taxes).
- Copies of registration/incorporation certificate (for firms), KRA PIN certificate, valid Tax Compliance Certificate, and other relevant statutory documents.
