- Provide technical oversight, coaching, and training to moderators handling sensitive feedback (GBV, child protection, safeguarding, fraud, SEA).
- Manage sensitive referrals safely and build partnerships with relevant focal points and protection actors.
- Ensure all sensitive feedback is handled promptly, confidentially, and in line with safeguarding protocols.
- Monitor trends and service responsiveness, reporting key indicators and making recommendations for improvements.
- Represent Loop in inter-agency meetings, protection clusters, and project-related forums.
- Develop and contextualize SOPs, guidelines, and protocols for sensitive feedback management in Kenya.
- Review, tag, and approve/reject feedback submitted on the Loop platform according to community guidelines.
- Translate feedback across languages (English, Swahili, and as needed, Omoro/Maxatiri) accurately and culturally appropriately.
- Escalate sensitive feedback to the Global Sensitive Feedback Lead and provide support in ongoing case management.
- Contribute to improvements in moderation protocols and strategies for inclusive engagement.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee program activities within Somali districts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and clarify roles and responsibilities using tools such as RACI matrices.
- Monitor operational progress, track deliverables, and report on key performance indicators.
- Identify operational risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community leaders, local authorities, and partner organizations to ensure effective program delivery.
- Manage budgets, resources, and logistics to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Engage stakeholders, document learning, and provide training and presentations on Loop's platform.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and inclusive decision-making.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, promoting professional development and well-being.
- Encourage innovative approaches to challenges and facilitate continuous improvement in team and project performance.
- Strong initiative, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Demonstrated experience in sensitive feedback management, community engagement, or related humanitarian/development work.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and coordination skills.
- Fluent in English and Swahili; proficiency in Oromo/Borana and/or Maxatiri preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to cultural sensitivities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong networks and connections with humanitarian, development, peace building and civic space across Kenya. Networks in innovation, technology and philanthropy an added advantage.
- Ability to balance multiple responsibilities as a sensitive lead, moderator, and project manager.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic operational context.
