Our people provide dedicated and expert hygiene services in the washroom and throughout entire premises.Our Rentokil Initial Head Office in Nairobi, Kenya houses central support functions including Human Resources, IT, Finance, Legal, and Marketing & Innovation. you will be supporting the business in East Africa, based in Mombasa, Kenya.Requirements:A Vacancy has become available for the position of Service Team Leader in our Kenya business, located in Mombasa. The primary duty of this role is to guide, organize, and cultivate a driven team of individuals and teams, ensuring that they deliver exceptional service to our customers. Additionally, the role focuses on optimizing branch service performance and ensuring compliance with all internal and external policies and legislative regulations.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Lead a team of service colleagues (Programmers, Supervisors, Technicians) to reach targets
- Drive productivity, conduct regular performance reviews and interventions as needed.
- Ensure team competency through appropriate training for new hires as well as retraining of existing service and sales colleagues in collaborations with the Technical team
- Conduct In-Field Coaching sessions concluding Technician Performance Assessments (TPA) identifying success and training needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies (e.g., OH&S, HR, Security) and maintain accurate training attendance records.
- Perform Supervisory Quality Assurance checks and maintain service quality reporting on these
- Resolve customer complaints ensuring customer satisfaction
- Drive sales opportunities to increase customer base
- Participate in customer retention strategies and conduct account reviews
- Manage overtime and leave while driving continuous improvement in KPIs.
- Facilitate regular performance reporting to the Branch Manager.
- Ensuring safety and the safe use of approved chemicals following Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Procedures.
- Manage service planning and data for effective productivity and accurate reporting
- Manager service costs and resource management aligned with business forecasts and targets.
- Relevant Tertiary Education advantageous
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- 3 years Supervisory / Management experience (preferably within the services sector)
- Customer Care experience advantageous
- Valid driver's license
- Numerical acumen
