  • Define, evolve, and communicate the group creative vision, positioning the brand as a market leader.
  • Develop creative strategies aligned with both global brand standards and local market needs.
  • Serve as the creative authority across the group, engaging C-suite leadership to position creativity as a business driver.
Creative & Operational Oversight
  • Lead end-to-end creative development, from concept to execution.
  • Oversee integrated campaigns, digital content, product experiences, and more.
  • Implement agile, scalable workflows and creative governance across all markets.
Budget & Resource Management
  • Develop and manage the creative budget, ensuring ROI and optimal resource allocation.
  • Lead budget forecasting, tracking, and cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Negotiate with agencies and production partners to ensure value and creative excellence.
Stakeholder & Market Engagement
  • Partner with regional teams to tailor initiatives to local cultures and consumer behaviors.
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver cohesive brand experiences.
  • Represent the creative function to external stakeholders and industry bodies.
Innovation & Brand Evolution
  • Promote a culture of creative innovation, experimentation, and trend awareness.
  • Introduce new storytelling methods, formats, and technologies.
  • Lead initiatives to evolve the brand for long-term relevance.
Talent Leadership & Development
  • Build and lead a diverse, high-performing creative team.
  • Mentor and coach creative leaders, set clear goals, and foster a culture of growth and collaboration.
Performance & Quality Assurance
  • Establish KPIs to measure creative impact and effectiveness.
  • Ensure brand consistency and regulatory compliance across all creative output.
  • Maintain and manage creative assets and brand libraries.
Financial & Geographic Scope
  • Responsible for the global creative departmental budget and major vendor contracts.
  • The role has a global remit, with a focus on current and future African markets.
Qualifications:Academic & Professional
  • Bachelors degree in Creative Arts, Communication, Advertising, Design, or a related field.
  • Masters degree or postgraduate diploma is a strong advantage.
  • Additional qualifications in Creative or Digital Design are a plus.
  • Membership in a recognized professional body is preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years in progressive creative leadership roles, including at least 4 years in a senior, multi-market role.
  • Experience in sectors such as gaming, technology, telecommunications, financial services, or leading creative agencies.
  • Proven success in executing multi-channel marketing strategies for large or global brands
