to hire temporary Research Associates for a three-month period for various studies based in
Nairobi, Central and Eastern Kenya.Job Purpose:To recruit study participants and collect qualitative and quantitative data.Duties and Responsibilities:1. Data Collection: Conducting Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), In-Depth Interviews (IDIs),
and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs).
2. Data Management: Labelling and storage of data, quality note-taking, and preparation of
transcripts and translations.
3. Data Analysis: First-level coding and thematic analysis using NVivo, preparation of analysis
memos, summaries and thematic matrices, and participation in analysis reviews and
interpretation.
Job Specification:Bachelor's degree in any of the fol owing fields; Social Sciences, Public Health, Nursing, Health
systems Management or an equivalent qualification with at least 5 years' experience in
qualitative research work.Terms of Employment:These are temporary, full time positions for an initial period of three (3) months with possibility
