Job SummaryWe are seeking an accomplished and strategic-minded Senior General Manager to provideleadership and direction in driving the growth and success of our organization. The SeniorGeneral Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic direction,strengthening client relationships, and optimizing operational performance. The ideal candidatewill possess extensive experience in the insurance industry, exceptional leadership skills, and aproven track record of delivering tangible results.Qualifications & Other requirements :Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.Master’s degree preferred. A Degree in law would be an added advantage.Minimum of 10-20 years of progressive experience in the insurance industry, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.In-depth knowledge of insurance products, services including policy construction, regulations, and market dynamics.Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective business strategies and plans.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business performance.Proficiency in spoken Hindi, Punjabi, and Gujarati would be highly advantageousProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.A Kenyan citizenResponsibilitiesRoles & Responsibilities :Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to achieve business objectives anddrive sustainable growth.Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation,and excellence.Drive business development efforts to expand the company's market presence, capitalizeon growth opportunities, and enhance revenue streams.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance partners, regulators,and other stakeholders.Provide oversight and guidance on all aspects of operations, including financial management, risk management, compliance, and quality assurance.Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to anticipate challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities.Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service andvalue-added solutions to clients.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policiesand procedures.Represent the company in industry forums, networking events, and strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and reputation.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness.
