- Lead and manage daily operations of the meat processing and food plant, from procurement to final product distribution.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Oversee procurement, meat processing operations, production, sales, marketing, logistics, and customer service functions to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, meat handling standards, and maintain high product quality.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, controlling costs to maximize profitability.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and high-performance work culture.
- Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare and present performance reports to the Directors with actionable recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Food Science, or a related field; an MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–7 years in a senior management role within the food industry, with direct experience in meat processing operations.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and supply chain management.
- Proven track record in driving business growth and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and financial management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in business management software, HRIS systems, and data analysis tools.
