About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase their income and assets on supported land by more than 35 percent, while permanently improving their resilience. This is all made possible by our team of 9,000+ full-time staff, drawn from Requirements: A Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., economics, statistics etc.) A Master’s degree in a related field is an added advantage Strong academic or professional experience designing and implementing evaluations and analysing data (e.g. with large scale data collection and field team management). Knowledge of evaluation concepts and mastery of experimental and quasi-experimental evaluation designs. Strong analytical skills, especially the use of statistical techniques leveraged in impact evaluation measurement strategies (e.g. propensity score matching, difference in difference, regression discontinuity, etc.). Knowledge of statistical software, such as Stata or R. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects with various levels of complexity at the same time. A clear and compelling written communication style with an eye for design and visual presentation. Ability to engage with multiple partners in a diplomatic manner and have strong relationship building skills. Leadership experience, including managing a team. A willingness to commit to living in East Africa for at least two years – this is a long–term, career–track role. The ideal candidate will have at least five years demonstrated experience working in the developing world, or be a country national from our program or operations. Proficiency in English is required, Swahili is an added advantage
