Summit Recruitment and Search Africa is a leading Recruitment and Executive Search agency head quartered in Kenya providing outstanding talent to a wide range of companies and NGOs in various business sectors across Africa.Our client, a leading security solutions provider dedicated to supporting sustainable security services is looking to recruit an experienced , the successful candidate will work with new technologies and architectures while having complete, end-to-end ownership of projects. She/he will be responsible for building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages.Key responsibilities:

Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale.
Collaborate with designers, front-end engineers and back-end engineers to create reliable APIs.
Collaborate via Slack, GitHub and virtual conferencing.
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
Create security and data protection settings.
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
Write technical documentation.
Excellent debugging and optimization of code

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Must be experienced in building web application
Must have a minimum of 4 years' relevant working experience in building large-scale software applications
Must have experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
Experience using Java frameworks (i.e., Spring Boot), HTML, CSS and MySQL for database administration
Knowledge and use of IntelliJ or Apache NetBeans IDE
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Work well within a team
