We’re currently in 12 locations; 5 in Nairobi, 8 in Kampala, and 1 in Entebbe.We are currently looking to hire chefs to join our team.ResponsibilitiesCarefully and accurately measure dish portionsResponsible for deliveries and stock rotationsMaintain cleanliness and hygiene both personal as well as at their work station.Thorough knowledge of all aspects of the operations of a kitchenInform wait staff about daily specialsEnsure appealing plate presentationSlightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredientsEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen areaPlanning menusEnsuring food quality and taste is of the highest standardControlling budgets and minimizing wastageRequirements.Culinary school degree/diploma.Past experience as a working chef in a fine dining environment.Advanced knowledge of the culinary arts.Perfectionism in sanitation and quality control.Expert multitasking ability.Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment.Passion and pride for delighting people with food.
