- Liaise with trainers to prepare laboratory prior to skill sessions.
- Liaise with the Head of Chemistry and Pharmaceutics sections in conducting laboratory training sessions.
- Assist learners by providing guidance and instruction on the Preparation of laboratory chemical reagents, tools and machine equipment as well as demonstrating best practices for safe and efficient operation.
- Keep inventory of all Laboratory tools and equipment
- Instruct learners on Lab safety and ensure smooth operation of Lab activities.
- Collaborate with trainers to develop training materials and teaching aids such as manuals, instructional videos, and demonstrations to support hands-on learning and reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Prepare chemical reagents Organize equipment for laboratory training sessions.
- Participating in classroom training in both pharmaceutics and chemistry.
- Good practical skills in using lab tools.
- Hands-on experience in Laboratory training & learning activities.
- Machines and utilization
- Computer proficiency
- Good organisational ability
- Good Lab management practices (responsibility, taking care of tools, procedures, monitoring, documentation, etc.)
- Mentorship, development and support of young adults
- Good social skills
- Minimum Diploma in Analytical chemistry.
- At least 3 years of experience in handling & managing a Lab.
- Conversant with national and international safety and regulatory issues
- Training experience
