- Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial reports and management information reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records in Tally and support improvements in finance processes and reporting accuracy.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and follow-up of outstanding balances.
- Manage bank reconciliations, routine cashbook control, and general financial housekeeping.
- Prepare and process statutory returns including PAYE, VAT, SHIF, NSSF, and other applicable filings, ensuring timely submission.
- Support audit readiness by maintaining schedules, reconciliations, and proper
- documentation for internal and external review.
- Provide financial control over procurement transactions, ensuring cost control, policy
- compliance, and proper approvals.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with statutory and internal requirements.
- Participate in stock counts and inventory reconciliations, and ensure variances are
- investigated and resolved. Support basic margin and costing analysis where required.
- Supervise and guide the Accounts Assistant in day-to-day finance operations.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal controls, finance processes, and reporting discipline across the business.

- Up-to-date statutory filings and remittances
- Clean and complete reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts
- Accurate payroll processing
- Improved control environment and finance discipline
- Well-maintained audit support schedules and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
- 5-7 years' relevant finance experience
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and Kenyan tax/statutory requirements
- Experience in manufacturing is required
- Exposure to inventory-heavy environments is preferred
- Exposure to EPZ/export businesses will be an added advantage
- Experience using Tally is preferred
