Compliance Manager at The Center for International Health, Education and Biosecurity (CIHEB)

- To ensure current internal control systems are in place and are compliant with Donor regulation and Ciheb-Kenya policies.
- Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct quarterly donor compliance spot checks and prepare the quarterly report to be submitted to the Board/CEO. This includes a review of sample documents from Finance, HR, Programs, Logistics, Procurement, and Grants, and communicating findings to the relevant staff/department for corrective action.
- In collaboration with the Board/CEO, provide technical support or create awareness to all departments/staff in relation to donor compliance issues.
- Support in the design of Internal Controls and continuous improvement of the finance, procurement, and reporting components of the proposed Ciheb ERP system.

- Contribute significantly in risk evaluations and risk register updates
- Conduct Investigations when required.
- Bachelor of Commerce Degree in accounting or related field with CPA-K.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor, or Certified Internal Auditor qualifications, with a minimum of eight (8) years of work experience in auditing, accounting, and ERP implementation.
- Proven experience working on audits of projects funded by USAID/CDC and other development partners.
- Excellent writing and spoken communication skills in English.
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to determine priorities, and giving attention to details are a must: ability to manage/work with professional people from operations and finance backgrounds
- High-level skills in MS Office application software.
