- Implement sustainable strategies to improve quantity (improved reporting rates) and quality of available data in the DWH.
- Support data cleaning, mapping (including accurate mapping of facilities and partners), data quality assessments, and feedback to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support evaluations and studies using the DWH as a data source including preparation of ad hoc data sets and capacity building them to access the data on their own.
- Support the development of capacity development materials for the DWH.
- Develop and maintain dashboards including data modeling for visualization.
- Work with SECCAH to support end-user training and support.
- Work closely with other Data Analysis and use team members to develop and disseminate information products.
- Support DWH in the development and maintenance of DWH-related documentation and data dictionaries.
- Advise the DWH team and Data Analysis & Use team members on the required enhancements to DWAPI to meet stakeholder needs.
- University education in computing, statistics, or science would be highly regarded.
- Some experience in the same or similar position
- Programming Languages (R/STATA/Python) – Proficient and working knowledge in one or more of these
- programming languages (R, Python, or STATA) for data gathering, data cleaning, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
- Creative and Analytical Thinking – Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills: confident communicating with people of differing levels of seniority, analytical understanding, and from a wide variety of backgrounds
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
