We deal with many aspects under the wide umbrella of ‘Reproductive Health’: Mother and Child Health, Sexual a…Resident Enumerator- Tharaka-Nithi (5)We invite applications for the position of Resident Enumerator (RE) to be based in Tharaka-Nithi Counties (5) for the What Works Project within the assigned County. The successful candidates should be highly motivated individuals with expertise and experience in collecting research data.ResponsibilitiesThe Resident Enumerator is responsible for;
  • Ethical data collection using digital tools provided e.g. REDCap
  • Accurate and complete data entry during interview sessions
  • Submission of completed survey forms after each interview
  • Monitoring and tracking daily data collection targets against set timeliness
  • Submission of daily progress reports to the County Field Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Must have completed secondary school education - KCSE and attained a minimum grade of C- and above.
  • Prior experience in field data collection or similar roles is an asset.
  • Familiarity with digital data collection tools, especially REDCap.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly under minimal supervision.
  • High regard for research ethics, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in using a smart phone is a MUST.
  • Knowledge of community engagement strategies and cultural sensitivity.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel to various locations as required
  • Additional training after secondary education especially in ICT will be an added advantage.
