To conduct inspection of product to ensure quality and identify any defects.
To ensure he/she applies labels to packages with accurate information such as product details.
To be able to operate the strapping machine.
To ensure that packaging meets quality standards and report any quality issues.
Ensure neat and tight straps on coils, pallets and slits.
To maintain accurate records of production and packaging data.
Inspect material before packaging for details accuracy.
To effectively communicate with supervisor and team members about production progress, issues and safety concern.
Communicate quality issues with QC/QA personnel for corrective action.
Perform daily inspections of strapping machine and report abnormalities.
With the aid of the crane operator move packed goods to designated inventory areas.
Maintain 6S/Housekeeping on work areas.
To Adhere to the SOP, company policies and safety regulations.
To perform any other duty as assigned by the Supervisor.

RequirementsQualification and experience required:

KCSE,
Government Grade Test Three or equivalent
Knowledge in 6S & Autonomous Maintenance
Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience in packing operations.
3 years in a manufacturing/industrial environment/setting.
