Baron Capital Limited is a non-deposit Taking Lending Institution, registered in the republic of Kenya in the year 2016. We started our operations in January 2017 in Ongata Rongai. Our products include:- – Logbook Loans. – Title Deed Loans. – Asset Financing. – Loan Buy Off.Branch Administrator- Utawala BranchWe are looking for a driven and experienced Branch Administrator to lead the daily operations of our microfinance branch in TRM & Utawala. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in credit, loan management, customer relationship management, and branch-level operations within a microfinance or financial services setting.As Branch Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery, high portfolio quality, compliance with lending policies, and excellent customer satisfaction. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, suited for professionals who understand the delicate balance between growth, risk, and client trust.Key ResponsibilitiesLoan Processing & Credit Management
  • Manage the full loan lifecycle - from application, appraisal, approval follow-up, disbursement, to monitoring.
  • Ensure all loans meet credit policy standards and are processed within defined turnaround times.
  • Maintain proper documentation and loan files for audit readiness.
Collections & Portfolio Health
  • Monitor repayments and aging reports to reduce default rates and enhance portfolio quality.
  • Follow up on delinquent accounts through reminders, field visits, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Work closely with recovery teams to escalate and resolve non-performing loans.
  • Generate monthly branch portfolio performance reports and insights.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individual and group clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Offer financial guidance and support clients in understanding loan terms, repayment schedules, and financial planning.
  • Resolve client complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Branch Operations & Compliance
  • Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and reconciliation in line with company policy.
  • Supervise and support branch staff to meet performance targets and client expectations.
Business Growth & Community Engagement
  • Participate in marketing campaigns in the branch
  • Contribute to the development and execution of branch-level sales and client acquisition strategies.
Who We're Looking ForMinimum Qualifications
  • A Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Microfinance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in microfinance, SACCO, or banking, preferably in a credit/loan officer or relationship management role.
Key Competencies
  • Strong understanding of loan processing, credit risk, and client appraisal techniques.
  • Proven ability in collections, portfolio monitoring, and reducing delinquency.
  • Customer-centric mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili
