  • The Senior Contract Coordinator will lead Tupande\’s end-to-end procurement contracting processes ensuring efficient tendering, accurate pricing, and compliant supplier agreements that directly support our cost efficiency and risk mitigation goals. You will have high cross-functional influence, particularly with Legal, Finance, and Procurement teams. You will be a part of the Procurement team and report directly to the Procurement Associate . This role is based in Kakamega and is onsite.
Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and track all contracts and LTAs; ensure accurate version control, renewals, and full compliance with internal policies and legal standards.
  • Maintain pricing trackers, support supplier negotiations, and ensure agreed terms are captured and enforced through contracts.
  • Monitor contract expiry risks, coordinate legal approvals, and uphold procurement compliance through accurate records and document control.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tendering workflows and contract management tools in collaboration with the Head of Procurement.
QualificationsAcross all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, contract management, or sourcing operations.
  • Experience managing high-volume contract lifecycles, including drafting, renewal tracking, and legal coordination.
  • Working knowledge of procurement systems and document control tools (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Google Suite).
  • Familiarity with pricing structures, supplier evaluation, and vendor compliance processes.gra
  • Language: English required; Swahili preferred.
