- Safety Audits: Perform regular safety inspections and drills.
- Reporting: Create detailed reports on training effectiveness, safety audits, and incident outcomes.
- Record Keeping: Accurately maintain records of all training sessions, attendance, and certifications.
- Certification Issuance: Issue and track participant certificates for all completed courses.
- Equipment Management: Maintain and manage all training equipment and supplies.
- Advisory Role: Advise management on ways to improve health and safety protocols.
- Professional Certification: Must have a valid certification as a Trainer in Fire and Safety from a recognized institution (e.g., DOSHS, NITA).
- First Aid Certification: Must hold a valid certification as a First Aid Trainer (e.g., St. John Ambulance, Red Cross).
- Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a trainer in fire safety and first aid.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of national safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, public speaking, and communication abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
- Interpersonal Skills: Patience and the ability to train diverse groups of people.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
