We're seeking a Business Development Lead to spearhead seller acquisition and growth on our platform. In this role, you'll build meaningful partnerships, onboard new sellers, and ensure they succeed in their first 60 days. You'll also shape our go-to-market strategy, explore new value chains, and collaborate on product innovations that create long-term impact.What You'll Do
  • Identify, acquire, and onboard new sellers (distributors, manufacturers, and more).
  • Develop tailored growth plans to guide new sellers through their first 60 days.
  • Research emerging value chains and uncover opportunities for expansion.
  • Collaborate with product and tech teams to enhance the seller experience.
  • Build lasting relationships that drive seller retention and revenue growth.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or channel management.
  • Background in FMCG, logistics, agri-tech, or fintech (a strong plus).
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven decision maker with a keen eye for growth opportunities.
  • Tech-savvy, entrepreneurial mindset, and passion for driving impact.
  • Based in the Eastern or Central regions of Kenya.
