- Develop and own the end-to-end SaaS marketing strategy, aligning closely with company growth objectives, product roadmap, and sales targets.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of marketing efforts, and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Spearhead brand positioning and messaging to establish strong market differentiation and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with founders and leadership on quarterly and annual go-to-market plans, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Design and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns to drive qualified leads, MQLs, and pipeline growth.
- Optimize customer acquisition costs (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV) across campaigns.
- Lead SEO/SEM strategy, performance marketing (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads), email nurturing, and retargeting programs.
- Oversee development of strategic content: long-form assets (whitepapers, case studies), blog content, product one-pagers, video scripts, and newsletters.
- Own the go-to-market strategy for new product features, coordinating cross-functionally with product and customer success teams.
- Translate technical product features into clear, compelling customer value propositions.
- Implement and optimize marketing tech stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.), ensuring proper tracking, segmentation, and automation.
- Maintain and enhance CRM hygiene, lead scoring, and marketing attribution models.
- Monitor trends, conduct market research, and analyze competitors to refine positioning and surface new opportunities.
- Identify and test new growth channels and tactics through rapid experimentation and iteration.
- Mentor junior marketers and potentially lead a small marketing team as the department scales.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment across all customer touchpoints.
- Represent marketing in leadership meetings and report performance to executives and investors.
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of marketing experience in a B2B SaaS environment, including at least 2 years in a senior or strategic role.
- Proven track record of growing marketing-sourced pipeline and revenue for a startup or early-stage SaaS company.
- Strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles, metrics (CAC, LTV, ARR, churn), and customer behavior.
- Expertise in marketing automation, CRM platforms, and data-driven marketing operations.
- Strong storytelling and copywriting skills; ability to create compelling narratives for technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Amplitude, or similar.
- Experience managing and scaling remote or cross-functional teams is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in an agile, resource-constrained, and high-growth environment.
