- Ensure accuracy in order details, including ship-to customer, pricing, quantity, and shipping information.
- Track purchase orders for local vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Work closely with senior procurement staff to identify and evaluate potential suppliers by gathering and analyzing supplier data, comparing current suppliers and contracts to industry standards thus aiding in better negotiations and finding improved value.
- Assist in the report preparation process and input of data necessary for analysis that inform strategic purchasing decision-making. This will be by collecting data, creating cost reports, and analyzing supplier pricing and performance metrics.
- Maintain vendor contact databases, ensuring up-to-date information and accurate records.
- Assist in preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Quotation Analysis (QA) and supplier questionnaires, gathering essential information for evaluation.
- Organize contracts, track expiration dates, ensure compliance, being attentive to details and to reduce risks and support successful procurement outcomes.
- Participate in regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Receiving and processing goods receipt at the warehouse, and coordinate dispatch for local deliveries.
- Transfer received materials to appropriate storage bin locations.
- Monitor customer returns and Free of Charge materials and report to all relevant stakeholders.
- Report missing, damaged or oversupplied materials for follow up and appropriate action.
- Maintain information of sensitive materials including hazardous, expiry, certificates of analysis, disposal records, etc.
- A Bachelors' degree in a business or any related field (Recent graduate or awaiting graduation.)
- Good communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
