- Plan, prepare, and present high-quality meals that meet dietary, seasonal, and cultural needs
- Develop rotating menus and special event meals, ensuring variety and nutritional balance.
- Monitor food inventory to ensure quality and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen and storage areas.
- Accommodate special dietary requirements e.g allergies, vegetarian, gluten free.
- Collaborate with the Administration team on budgeting, meal cost control and feedback collection.
- Lead by example in maintaining high culinary standards and professional conduct.
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef, preferably in a residential, restaurant or institutional setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, nutrition, and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene (required).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Creativity in menu design and problem-solving.
