- Oversee daily warehouse and recycling operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, performance, and discipline.
- Ensure proper handling, sorting, processing, and storage of e-waste materials.
- Monitor workflow and implement improvements to optimize operational performance.
- Lead, train, and develop operational and warehouse teams.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain strict operational controls to minimize fraud and material losses.
- Monitor stock movement, weighbridge processes, and reconciliation procedures.
- Conduct spot checks, audits, and investigations where discrepancies arise.
- Ensure transparency and accuracy in reporting and documentation.
- Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of materials.
- Ensure correct identification, classification, and handling of e-waste.
- Reconcile stock records and investigate variances.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Enforce the use of PPE and safe working practices at all times.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Prepare and submit operational reports, including productivity, stock, and risk indicators.
- Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee material inflow and outflow processes, including collections and dispatch.
- Ensure efficient use of resources, equipment, and transport.
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
- Valid drivers license
- Willingness to relocate and work in remote areas across Africa
- 5+ years of experience in operations or warehouse management (recycling, mining, metals, or similar industries preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Proven experience implementing operational controls and fraud prevention measures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in remote and challenging environments
