We are building a structured, system-driven operation and are looking for a disciplined Accounts & Compliance Officer to manage financial records and statutory compliance.Requirements:- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- Good understanding of Kenyan statutory requirements (KRA, NSSF, NHIF/SHIF)- Experience using accounting systems (Odoo is an added advantage)- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Organized and able to follow structured processesKey Traits:- Reliable and accountable- Structured and methodical in work- Good communication skills- Able to work independently and take ownershipWhat We Are Looking For:We are looking for someone who values structure, systems, and accuracy. The ideal candidate must be disciplined, organized, and able to maintain clean and transparent records at all times.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate understanding of PAYE, NSSF, and NHIF processes during the interview.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:- Handle statutory compliance including PAYE, VAT, and Housing Levy (KRA)- Manage NSSF and NHIF/SHIF submissions and payments- Perform monthly reconciliations (bank, suppliers, and statutory accounts)- Maintain accurate financial records in Odoo ERP system- Ensure all documentation is complete, properly filed, and audit-ready- Track deadlines and ensure all statutory obligations are met on time- Support management with clear financial reports and updates
