- Has earned a PhD Degree in Medicine or Public Health or its equivalent from an accredited University
- Must have a Master's in Medicine Degree (MMed) in Diagnostic Radiology or equivalent Master’s Degree from an accredited University.
- At least three (3) years of University teaching experience as a Lecturer or research fellow/ a minimum of six (6) years of industry experience in the relevant field
- At least three (3) articles in refereed journals since being appointed as a Lecturer
- Successful supervision of at least three (3) post-graduate students since being appointed as a Lecturer.
- Registration by the KMPDC with a valid practicing license
- An applicant who has attracted research or development funds or educational resources as a lecturer or research fellow since his or her last promotion will have an added advantage.
- The applicant must also show evidence of community service.
- The successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise both undergraduate and postgraduate students, undertake further research in his or her area of specialization, and participate in university, faculty, and departmental activities.
