- Support the development of communication materials such as newsletters, client stories, internal updates, and social media content.
- Assist in drafting and editing content for marketing materials, reports, presentations, and the website.
- Help collect and document client success stories and impact stories from the field.
- Assist in ensuring consistency in branding and messaging across communication materials in line with Group branding guidelines.
- Support the preparation of marketing materials such as brochures, posters, and campaign assets.
- Assist with market and competitor research to support marketing initiatives.
- Support the management of ASA Kenya's social media channels by helping create, schedule, and monitor posts.
- Assist in tracking engagement metrics and preparing basic performance reports.
- Support the development of digital content including graphics, short videos, or visuals.
- Assist in organizing internal and external events, campaigns, and outreach activities.
- Support the preparation of presentations and communication materials for stakeholders such as partners, regulators, and community leaders.
- Help coordinate logistics and documentation for communication initiatives.
- Provide general support to the communications and sustainability teams on ongoing projects.
- Assist with maintaining communication archives, media coverage records, and content libraries.
- Support the preparation of periodic reports on communication activities.

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- 0-1 year of experience, including internships, volunteer work, or academic projects in communications, marketing, or media.
- Basic familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Interest in development finance, financial inclusion, or social impact is an advantage.
- The Communications Intern will report to the Sustainability Manager.
