- Translate documents, emails, and other communication from Chinese to English and vice versa.
- Provide real-time interpretation during Check In Check out and guest activities and other interactions.
- Ensure accuracy and cultural sensitivity in all translations.
- Act as a liaison between English-speaking and Chinese-speaking guests at the hotel.
- Facilitate effective communication between parties who speak different languages.
- Provide language-related support to enhance cross-cultural collaboration.
- Demonstrate fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Possess a strong understanding of cultural nuances to ensure accurate and contextually appropriate translations.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently to meet needs of different Chinese clients.
- Assist in the coordination of travel arrangements and itineraries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Communications with level 4 or level 5 Chinese language certification.
- Previous experience in translation and interpretation in a busy environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
