Mwananchi Credit Limited is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Legal to join our leadership team. This role will provide strategic legal guidance, ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, and safeguard the company’s interests in all legal matters.Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Strategy and Advisory
  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight
  • Litigation and Dispute Resolution
  • Risk Management and Policy Development
  • Use legal channels to collect and recover overdue loan accounts as per company policies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law
  • Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with 8–10 years’ post-admission experience, including leadership in financial services/legal practice
  • CPS (K) qualification is an added advantage
  • Membership in the Law Society of Kenya (LSK)
  • Proven experience in lending, securities, credit, and debt recovery
