Reporting Line: Business ManagerA dynamic Key Accounts Specialist with proven experience in B2B chemical ingredients sales, able to drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, and manage strategic accounts within the chemicals industry.Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management & Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for key accounts, ensuring excellent service delivery and building long-term partnerships by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts through cross-selling, up-selling, and expansion of product penetration.
- Market Strategy: Provide actionable insights on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform business strategy and strengthen market position.
- Product Expertise: Maintain strong knowledge of chemical products, positioning, and value propositions for customer awareness and support business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and sales support teams to deliver seamless customer solutions.
- Performance Analysis: Track sales performance, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure timely processing of orders, invoices, and collections.
- Background in Chemicals Sales: 5-7 years proven experience in key account management within the chemicals industry. Experience in selling chemical ingredients to home care, personal care, fabric care is a must.
- Sales Expertise: Strong ability to build, manage, and grow high-value customer relationships while meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with chemicals industry trends, products, and regulatory frameworks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation abilities to engage clients effectively.
- Analytical Ability: Skilled in data analysis, forecasting, and identifying opportunities for account growth.
- Education: Bachelors degree in chemistry, Business, or a related field.
