Applicants must possess:
- PhD in Management related field and
- Three (3) years’ experience in grade 13 or equivalent
- Master’s degree in either Social Science, Human Resource, Public Administration or any relevant area from a recognized institution and
- Five (5) years’ experience in grade 13
- Applicants who have acted as Deputy Registrar, Grade 14 for at least six months will have an added advantage
- Have attended training(s) on administrative skills such as organization, teamwork, communication, time management, multitasking, conflict resolution, planning & coordination, problem solving and judgment, leadership & motivation, teamwork & collaboration, accountability, attention to detail, relationship building, strategic focus, organizational awareness and be results and service oriented
- Be knowledgeable and experienced in working with computerized information systems such as HRMIS, ERP, SAGE
- Have wide experience in management and processes of Institutions of higher learning
- Have demonstrated leadership qualities
- Be conversant with the requirements of Kenyan Constitution, National Laws and Policies governing University education
- Be of the highest ethical standards, integrity and professionalism
- Be a member of a relevant Professional Body where applicable
