- The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and overseeing account development. This role also includes debt management and recovery functions to ensure timely payments from clients. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in growing the customer base, maintaining client satisfaction, and contributing to the company's revenue and financial health.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable products or services.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Identify and close new sales opportunities to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services or products to maximize account value.
- Conduct periodic client reviews to assess satisfaction and explore new business opportunities.
- Resolve client concerns promptly to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
- Monitor client accounts for overdue invoices and initiate follow-ups.
- Reach out to clients via calls, emails, and visits to recover outstanding payments.
- Negotiate and document payment plans for clients facing financial difficulty.
- Escalate unresolved debt cases to the Finance Department or legal team as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of debt recovery activities.
- Ensure all sales activities, payment agreements, and client interactions are well-documented.
- Keep client information up to date in the CRM system.
- Comply with company policies and legal regulations related to sales and debt recovery.
- Submit timely reports on account performance, sales achievements, and debt recovery metrics.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales, account management, or credit control role.
- Experience in B2B client engagement and debt recovery will be an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate, close deals, and handle objections.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Results-driven with a passion for sales
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
