- Lead and manage a team of over 200 employees across multiple restaurants and cafes
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes teamwork, innovation, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Research and understand culinary trends from around the world to create innovative and exciting menus
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure the highest quality of food and beverage offerings
- Oversee menu engineering and pricing strategies to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurants and cafes, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities
- Develop and implement financial reports, including sales, profit and loss, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety standards
- Ensure exceptional customer experience through personalized service, attention to detail, and prompt resolution of customer complaints
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurants and cafes, including social media and local advertising
- Assist in the development and implementation of pre-opening plans for new restaurants and cafes
- Coordinate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure that the restaurants and cafes are built to specifications
- Manage the logistics of opening a new restaurant or cafe, including hiring, training, and inventory management
- Develop and implement PR strategies to promote the restaurants and cafes, including media outreach and community events
- Build and maintain relationships with employees, customers, and the local community
- Degree/diploma in hospitality management or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an assistant F&B manager role.
- Proven track record of success in managing high-end restaurants and cafes
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees, customers, and the local community
- Strong knowledge of culinary trends and menu engineering
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Micros and other relevant software
- Basic salary KES 350000 (approx. USD 2300)
