- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Conducting activity planning, forecasting, and opportunity management.
- Handling price negotiations, tender submissions, and contract discussions.
- International travel for customer visits, internal meetings, and training.
- Providing technical sales support, including product demonstrations and troubleshooting.
- Securing, retaining, and growing key accounts through proactive relationship-building.
- Attending trade fairs, conferences, and industry events to promote solutions.
- Delivering informative presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining a database of prospective clients (leads, contacts, opportunities).
- Meet quotas for cold calls, follow-ups, appointments, and client meetings.
- Maintaining a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Reporting on sales metrics (conversion rates, pipeline growth, revenue forecasts).
- Working with back-office/inside sales, marketing, and service teams to align efforts.
- Supporting marketing initiatives (campaigns, webinars, technical articles).
- Coordinating with service/repair teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Providing regular updates on sales performance, KPIs, and market trends.
- Collaborating with leadership on long-term business plans and growth strategies.
- BSc degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years in sales with a focus on testing and measurement in power systems.
- Strong understanding of Power Automation and Control (PAC) for substations.
- Experience in high voltage testing of power assets (transformers, motors, generators, switchgear, cables).
- Experience with GE and Megger Grid solutions is added advantage
- Familiarity with grid solutions in industrial applications.
- Passion for grid solutions technology and industry trends.
- Value-selling skills - ability to align solutions with customer ROI and financial justifications.
- Understanding of project economics (CAPEX/OPEX, payback periods, etc.).
- Strategic thinking to meet sales quotas and KPIs.
- Strong social skills, enjoy networking and relationship-building.
- Active listening and ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Multicultural communication proficiency.
- Presentation skills (clear, persuasive, and professional).
- Self-motivated with a proactive, decision-making approach.
- Team player open to feedback and continuous growth.
