Burn is looking for a Senior Strategic Associate, who will be responsible for supporting commercial rollout and developing a deeper understanding of the business in the different countries BURN operates. The role will play a crucial part in building a go-to-market strategy for the company.Duties and Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis for BURN Markets to develop a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape.
- Identify and assess market opportunities and challenges.
- Develop clear and data-driven business cases for each market.
- Funding Needs Assessment:
- Determine funding requirements for specific markets and provide well-founded justifications.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure funding allocation aligns with strategic objectives.
- Strategic Direction and Decision Support:
- Act as a key advisor in shaping the company's strategic direction.
- Provide insights on price points, customer segments, and product/service positioning.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Effectively communicate market insights and strategies to the team and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Investor Relations:
- Provide clear insights and data to position the company attractively to potential investors.
- Assist in investor presentations and meetings, providing a compelling business case.
- Competitive Landscape Analysis:
- Continuously monitor and analyze the competitive landscape in different markets.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to inform strategic decisions.
- Business Value Propositions:
- Develop and refine business value propositions that resonate with target customer segments.
- Ensure value propositions are competitive and aligned with market dynamics.
- Pricing Strategies:
- Create and implement pricing strategies tailored to different customer segments and market conditions.
- Monitor pricing effectiveness and adjust as needed.
- Data Accuracy and Information Management:
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and information used in strategic decision-making.
- Maintain organized records of market research and analysis.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Address concerns and inquiries from key stakeholders, including senior management.
- Build strong working relationships to facilitate collaboration and support for strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, statistics, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar role (Analyst, Strategy Analyst, Business Analyst).
- Strong critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
