In this role, you'll play a key part in attracting top talent across the region by supporting end-to-end recruitment efforts for a designated business unit. You'll collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and external networks to ensure we hire the best candidates in a timely and cost-effective manner.Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Draft compelling job descriptions and manage job postings across various platforms.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and execute recruitment campaigns, including job fairs and university outreach.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing and networking.
  • Collaborate with external recruitment agencies and leverage online tools to expand candidate reach.
  • Provide guidance to hiring teams on best practices in interviewing and selection.
  • Ensure compliance with local hiring regulations and internal policies, including applicant tracking.
  • Stay informed on market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices.
  • Support diversity hiring initiatives and contribute to an inclusive recruitment process.
  • Deliver timely updates and insights to business leaders on recruitment progress and challenges.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment or a related HR function.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment laws and best practices in the African market.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Awareness of market dynamics and talent trends in the region.
