- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA Part II or above.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control, preferably in a busy SME environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Duties
- Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner and in line with contractual terms.
- Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure timely collections.
- Follow up on overdue accounts through calls, emails, visits, demand letters among others.
- Post customer payments and allocate to correct accounts in accounting software.
- Maintain an updated customer ageing report and provide periodic reports to management.
- Respond promptly to client billing queries and resolve disputes.
- Liaise with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth invoicing and payment processes.
- Handle additional administrative and finance-related duties
