  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and conducive classroom environment that fosters learning, discipline, and respect among students.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their academic performance.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with stakeholders including sharing progress reports, attending meetings, and collaborating on educational strategies.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest educational trends, methodologies, and best practices, and participate in relevant training and development opportunities.
  • Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, following established safety protocols and reporting any concerns to appropriate authorities.
  • Positive Role Model: Serve as a positive role model for students by demonstrating ethical behavior, respect, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assignments, and assessments, and submit required documentation promptly.
  • Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
  • Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in regular meetings
  • Participate in educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that align with curriculum standards.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and learning.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and their parents or guardians on academic performance and areas for improvement.
  • Stay current with your subject area's educational trends, best practices, and curriculum developments.
  • Prepare and deliver lessons to classes of different ages and abilities
  • Research new topic areas, maintain up-to-date subject knowledge, and devise and write new curriculum materials
  • Select and use a range of different learning resources and equipment, including podcasts and interactive whiteboards
