- Hunt for new leads and convert them into active shipping accounts.
- Maintain and grow existing client portfolios through exceptional service including handling after sales issues and improve customer satisfaction
- Understand client pain points and tailor logistics packages to meet their specific needs.
- Collect market information, competitor activities and customer needs and provide feedback to the company in a timely manner.
- Track sales pipeline and provide regular updates on targets and achievements.
- Follow up on customer orders, ensure goods are warehoused on time and promptly notify customers of cargo arrival details and pickup procedures upon arrival at the port.
- College Diploma or related field of study
- Atleast 1-2 years proven sales experience preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good negotiation and "closing" skills.
- A self-starter who is resilient, target-driven, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Presentable and well-groomed with a professional attitude
