- Own the entire hiring funnel, from sourcing to offer. And do it again. And again.
- Actively over-hire to build depth, absorb attrition, and prep for the next growth wave.
- Source from the public, not just job boards. Events, communities, smart networks. You know how.
- Implement and optimize workflows using tools like Workable and TestGorilla, but never hide behind them.
- Keep the pipeline full. Empty pipelines mean empty results.
- Align with hiring managers without losing momentum, recruitment is a daily executive function here.
- 2+ years in recruitment in a hyper-growth environment or scaling startup.
- Comfortable hiring across cultures and time zones, especially in Africa.
- You love people, but you really love results.
- You’re highly organized but move fast, velocity doesn't scare you.
- You speak fluent English. Bonus if you know how to charm in Swahili, French or Dutch.
