- Lead all hiring activity across the organisation, ensuring timely and quality recruitment outcomes.
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top engineering and technical talent.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and provide recruitment expertise.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies where necessary.
- Conduct reference follow-ups and maintain communication with candidates during their notice period.
- Develop and maintain interview question banks and recruitment dashboards.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Lead recruitment and interview training for managers and teams.
- Support HR processes including employee relations, probation management, performance management, and policy implementation.
- Assist with onboarding and induction processes, ensuring smooth integration of new employees.
- Maintain and update HR records, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Contribute to HR projects including employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and learning & development initiatives.
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support experienced hires in talent management, career ladders, and career planning.
- Lead early careers programs, including strategy for graduates, interns, and early talent: career planning, skill development, mentoring, and experience opportunities.
- Support succession planning and career development initiatives across the organisation.
- Proven experience in HR and talent acquisition, ideally within the engineering or technical sector.
- Solid understanding of HR functions, best practices, and employment law.
- A person with a high work rate and the ability to manage multiple deliverables and priorities whilst not compromising in quality or standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in leading early careers programs, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and other HR software.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
