- Bachelor’s degree or above in Interior Design, Marketing, or other design-related majors.
- More than 8 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in marketing for high-end retail brands or international building material brands.
- Proven track record from strategy development to implementation.
- Familiarity with the high-end building materials market in Kenya or East Africa (preferred)
- Experience in channel development with masons/artisans and in executing largescale events.
- Experience in B2B channel development within the construction industry (e.g., masons, contractors, designers).
- Experience in organizing artisan training, certification programs, and industry summits (100+ participants).
- 8+ years of marketing experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles (luxury retail, FMCG, or building materials industries preferred)
- Strong expertise in showroom/retail channel marketing (experience with tiler/designer networks preferred).
- Proficient in online and offline marketing platforms.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Data-driven mindset with skills in data interpretation and reporting.
- Familiarity with mainstream marketing tools (WeChat, Douyin/TikTok, digital advertising platforms).
- Creative content development and ability to guide teams in producing high-quality promotional material.
- Strong leadership with ability to influence senior management and external partners (designers, project clients)
- High sense of responsibility, decisiveness, and adaptability.
- Ability to identify and apply new industry trends (new product categories, marketing strategies).
- Fluency in Swahili, English, Hindi, or Somali is preferred.
- Strategic Planning: Develop marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term vision.
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and resolve conflicts within teams to drive performance.
- Event Operations: Plan and execute large-scale promotional campaigns (budgets >100,000 RMB) from planning to execution and review.
- Data Analysis: Interpret reports (Excel PivotTables, advertising backend data), identify issues, and propose actionable solutions.
- Resource Integration: Strong negotiation skills with ability to build cost-effective cross-industry partnerships and media collaborations.
