
Private Sector Partnerships – Field Coordinator at World Food Programme (WFP)

- Support documentation for origination processes and training of select country offices
- Support collaboration with WFP teams to ensure consistency with corporate approach to value chain development
- Identify and build case studies of best practice from Country Offices
- Work with COs to identify training needs across management and partnerships officers.
- Update PSP training for Country Offices as necessary
- Coordinate key PSP processes for Country Offices including inputs to divisional and departmental meetings and documentation.
- Liaise with field teams Global Services for Due Diligence submissions and reviews.
- Support planning and reporting processes for field Private Sector Partnerships
- Produce quarterly reports for field and HQ leadership
- Support the leadership team with any other activities as required.
- World Food Invest processes set up and training well documented
- Plan for field training based on consultation with COs
- 10 case studies of best practice delivered showing how to engage with Private Sector
- 20 Country Offices supported with tactical processes
- Ensure that all work and materials developed during the contract are well documented and available to the WFP team.
- Regular progress reports and updates to WFP leadership and stakeholders.
- At least 3 years of experience in private sector partnerships, corporate social responsibility, business development, or related fields, preferably in international development, humanitarian assistance, or non-profit sectors.
- Experience in building and managing partnerships with local private sector actors, including businesses, foundations, and other non-profit organizations.
- Proven track record of successfully engaging with a range of private sector stakeholders in the context of development or humanitarian operations.
- Knowledge of the food security and nutrition sectors is a plus.
- Experience working cross-functionally and getting things done in an agile and hands-on way.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills, with the ability to write strategy documents, develop business plans, and deliver presentations.
- Collaborative spirit, able to partner with a wide range of people at all levels and across different cultures and to act with credibility and diplomacy.
- Self-motivated and able to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Fully committed and motivated to achieve the aims of the UN World Food Programme.
- Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.
