Summit Recruitment and Search Africa is a leading Recruitment and Executive Search agency head quartered in Kenya providing outstanding talent to a wide range of companies and NGOs in various business sectors across Africa.Our client, a company in the gemstone industry, is seeking a skilled to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing international shipping operations, handling customs procedures, and supporting digital marketing initiatives.Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee international shipping processes with FedEx and UPS, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of gemstone orders.
Manage customs clearance procedures, including documentation preparation and compliance with import/export regulations.
Collaborate with Kentrade and other relevant authorities to facilitate smooth customs clearance and trade compliance.
Assist in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to promote gemstone products online.
Conduct product photography sessions to create high-quality images for digital marketing campaigns and online platforms.
Utilize computer skills to maintain shipping records, track inventory levels, and generate reports as needed.
Support the Shipping Manager in optimizing shipping operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and improving efficiency.

Requirements:

Must have at least three Years of work experience in shipping, logistics and supply chain management.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Added advantage if one has experience in international shipping operations, preferably with FedEx and UPS, including knowledge of customs procedures and regulations.
Knowledge of photography principles and experience in product photography is an added advantage.
