You are not just a finance professional; you are a transformational leader building the digital and operational foundations that allow our schools to scale across the continent with surgical precision.Directly reporting to the Group CFO, you will occupy a unique position at the crossroads of our organization. Your mandate is to oversee and industrialize the finance operations of our school network ("the baseline") while simultaneously spearheading our Business Efficiency and Group Financial Control functions. You are the architect who ensures that local school finance teams are perfectly aligned with group strategy, turning their daily operations into a high-performance engine backed by flawless, real-time data.With 10 to 15 years of experience—ideally in Audit/Consulting, Regional Finance Management, or a multi-site scale-up—you are a tech-savvy leader who knows how to optimize SaaS ecosystems to eliminate low-value tasks and drive collective performance across diverse borders.About the RoleYou will spearhead the "Finance 2028" transformation, acting as the bridge between central strategy and field execution to guarantee reliability, speed, and scalability.Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & "Finance 2028" Roadmap: Define and lead a 3-year transformation plan to align our financial organization, systems, and talent with the group’s massive growth ambitions.
- Network Finance Oversight: Lead the finance operations of our school network, standardizing processes across all regions to ensure that every school operates with the same level of rigour and transparency.
- Industrialization & Shared Services: Design and launch a Finance Shared Service Center to centralize accounting operations, driving significant EBITDA gains and freeing up local school teams to focus on business partnering.
- Tech-Stack & Business Efficiency: Act as the strategic lead for Finance systems, harmonizing our software ecosystem to ensure 100% digital workflows and total data consistency between operations and accounting.
- Operational Control & "Laser" Diagnostic: Implement automated consistency checks to move the group from manual verification to high-level supervision, identifying "root cause" anomalies in real-time across the baseline.
- Leadership & Team Transformation: Mentor a diverse, pan-African team. You will shift their culture from "data-entry" mindsets to proactive "Business Partners" who challenge and influence school leadership, ensuring that every financial decision at the school level is a catalyst for performance.
- Inspirational & Assertive Leader: You possess natural authority and the emotional intelligence to manage diverse, multi-country teams. You don’t just delegate; you build high-performing teams by coaching your managers and setting a clear, exciting vision.
