- Overseeing maintenance and projects in three facilities-MJT, LOBP & GAPCO terminal.
- Assuring Operational Excellence (OE) processes are developed, rolled out, and effectively executed to maintain compliance with company's standards.
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs and strategies for plant equipment.
- Overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery. Conducting regular inspections to identify and resolve issues.
- Performing troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Conducting root cause analysis for equipment failures and implementing corrective actions.
- Managing plant projects, including upgrades, modifications, and new installations.
- Collaborating with the plant manager and clients on project needs and technical requirements.
- Analyzing operational data to identify areas for improvement and optimizing production processes.
- Enhancing equipment reliability and availability. Improving energy efficiency and awareness within the plant.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Conducting audits and mitigating hazards during maintenance activities.
- Collaborating with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Liaising with vendors, contractors, and external service providers to ensure optimal reliability of plant machineries and equipment.
- Providing technical support and training to plant staff and contractors.
- Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation of maintenance activities and operational data.
- Developing and maintaining plant drawings, standards, and procedures.
- Preparing and managing the maintenance and engineering budget.
- Preparing and presenting reports on plant performance and operational metrics.
- Developing and implementing strategies for cost reduction and resource optimization
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering
- 5 years' experience in a plant/processing setting.
- Knowledge in Engineering Fundamentals, Technical Drawings and Schematics. Software Proficiency – CAD, Electrical and Automation.
- Good communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills.
